A couple of days ago, it happened that the traffic light turned red when I just stepped into a jammed intersection. Cars coming perpendicular on my road had to wait for almost a minute before cars ahead started to move on. For some reason, a driver thought my car had wings and asked me to move on. Illogical and irritating!
On the other hand, a day after this incident, a car changed its way into my lane ahead of me all of a sudden. I drove closer and calmly asked the driver to kindly use the car flashers before changing lanes. The guy apologised instantly and said he would!
Yesterday, before turning right, the car in front of me stopped blocking almost half the entrance of the street I was entering. I had to go around the car to be able to turn right. But before that, I drew closer and told the driver (who happened to be a famous actress): “You are blocking the entrance of a street!” Again, she instantly apologised.
Moral of the story, there are not-very-nice-people. But there are others who admit their mistakes and are willing to behave properly. Which side do we want to be standing on?
